Bori Wildlife Sanctuary

The Bori Wildlife Sanctuary occupies an area of 485 sq. kms. in the picturesque Mahadeo hills of the Satpura range. The Santuary occupies a series of hills and valleys located just south of the main Mahadeo peaks and has some of the finest teak and miscellaneous forests in India.

Together with the adjacent protected areas of Satpura National Park and Pachmarhi Sanctuary, ThisWildlife Sanctuary forms a unique and vital protected area complex of over 1427 sq. kms. The Sanctuary lies in  Hoshangabad district of Madhya Pradesh and is a fine representative of central Highlands ecosystem.
